2-Man discord in UW?
a friend and I are considering trying to do a full clear, every quest playthrough of the UW using the 2 man discordway. However, a few ppl said that it wouldnt work. anyone willing to shed some light on this?
ooh, and to answer the obvious question:
the reason we dont just try it and find out is because my friend is working alot the next few days, so we dont really have time right at this moment.
PS: im looking for someone who uses this build often who knows what theyre doing, if interested IGN: obct mcpo

In mountains the spirit is going to continuously screw with you and hexes, smite crawler's all have hex removal, and mindblades all have hex breaker and huge interrupts.
Meanwhile a large majority of things aren't fleshy.

No minions, hexes that don't work, four horsemen etc
Unless you're both perma's that is and can do the quests without heroes, but in that case the heroes are just there for the ride
I'm a mesmer, and best I've done with heroes is, spirit spammers, a warder/interupter, echo rojers, and a some sort of tank hero. And even then that sux.

Is there are good 2-man plus heroes way to do the UW? Would a hero be able to tank well on his own for the horsemen quest?
My friend and I did a variation of the Discordway in Fissure of Woe and we completed it in about an hour and a half. But FoW is completely different than UW

If you micro a perma sin...maybe..but they'll just run around on avoid combat, and just end up ruining aggro.
A defy pain would eventually succumb to the terror webs.
A 600 can hold them off as long as SB lasts, but again, major microing.
So pretty much, no a hero can't hold a side.

2man aen't too hard...
just run your usual bars - tanking skills help - even if just one per bar
+ 2monk heroes
ele nuker (SH is nice)
SS necro
/p - fall back is helpful - primary can vary - hexes are nice - smite perhaps?
optional again - another ele may come in handy
quests are all easy except 4horseman....
if you can leave a monk hero and something that can tank....perhaps consider a war hero - just for the 80armor thing...and macro PS and SB and the likes on the monk hero - permanently targetting the war hero etc.
<< for this too work you NEED a good knowledge of spawn points and movement patterns etc.
<<< roughly how me and my mate managed to do UW clearance (both of us as rangers)
it does work - just takes some perserverance on your part to get your bars correct and learn spawn points, movement patterns and tanking....
alternatively with 2 people you can each tank one side with macroed heals - and you take the aggro and heroes nuke,hex, and d-slash? (idea for war maybe)
